Gender Equality

As a part-time writer/filmmaker and full-time feminist, art is at the heart of making an impact in my advocacy work, and I wish to eventually be able to utilize this talent to bring more attention to the subject of womens’ rights.

I dream a dream

that boys and girls will stand equal someday

that it does not have to be this way

I dream of a new world

where we will not be judged by our gender

not by our favourite colours

or by our career choices

but by the strength of our characters

whatever they may be

and by our ethics and values

…and our abilities to make the world a better place
